I am a recent graduate of the Pacific Institute of Advanced Hypnotherapy. For many years I have been
searching for something that I am passionate about, which is making a difference in peoples lives. When I
came across Sherry's school I was very impressed. And now since having taken the course, I feel that I
am thoroughly trained and capable of making a difference in peoples lives.
Sherry's dedication to the hypnotherapy practice shines through in her teachings. She is very thorough
and meticulous about the curriculum she teaches. She has a wide variety of therapies and experiences that
enhance the course.
With being totally immersed in the full time course you have the opportunity to get a hands on approach
from the start. And its amazing to see all of the guest clients who come on a regular basis because they
receive such great benefits. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to make a
difference in the lives of others.

The journey to find one’s purpose and passion in life is never easy. We are tried and tested in our youth

completing the intensive one month full time course I knew I had found my purpose and my life’s work

After researching all my options quite thoroughly (for over a year), it became clear that PIAH was the
right choice for me. Sherry Hood’s strong connection with the medical community as well as the course’s
accreditation by the University of Alberta Medical department was very important to me.
The full-time course was intensive, but worth it. The opportunity to gain practical experience with the
public, along with the comprehensive course work was invaluable. Sherry is an excellent instructor, and
was always available to go into further details and discussion about any topics we, the class, needed more
information on. The class size was small and excellent for the process of learning.
Every day I left class, I felt excited for the next day of learning, and at the end of the course, I was
confident in my abilities. Sherry went out of her way to provide me contacts that resulted in getting my
practice started immediately.
If you are looking for a course that will help you be the best Clinical Hypnotherapist possible, I believe
PIAH is really your only viable option.

Having the science of hypnotherapy within this advanced course is such and important part of
hypnotherapy as it grows as a clinically recognized medical elective. Helping people work through a wide
variety of issues, Sherry's experience in the field of hypnotherapy speak for itself. There is no other
course I would take in initial training in hypnotherapy; and it is clearly the best in the lower mainland. We
are lucky to have Sherry. She is a true pioneer in hypnotherapy!
